  Joe Allen - Concourse C

Joe Allen is a Nashville native who specializes in wilderness photography. Inspired by an experience in his childhood when his pocket camera simply did not adequately capture the magnificence in nature, he resolved to return to the same spot with equipment and knowledge to get it right.

  Artist Statement
"The challenge with landscape photography is to move beyond documentation. In my view, undisturbed nature is the most sacred of all places. Like the range of human emotions, so too is the range of textures, colors and details in nature. I hope my images can deepen the viewer’s appreciation for our vital connection to nature."
