This summer, Arts at the Airport features an exhibit by photography students from Nossi College of Art. The exhibit represents the broad interests and talents of the students related to the field of commercial photography. The college is located in Goodlettsville, Tenn., and was established in 1973 by Ms. Nossi Vatandoost, an artist and former art teacher who continues to preside over the college. Nossi College of Art awards bachelor degrees in Graphic Art and Design, Commercial Illustration and Digital Photography and Video. For students seeking shorter programs, the college also awards associate degrees in Graphic Art and Design and in Commercial Digital Photography. This exhibit is located beyond the security checkpoint. |

Arts at the Airport receives funding for the visual arts from the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) and the Tennessee Arts Commission (TAC). The Flying Solo Exhibition Series is supported by the MNAA, the TAC, and is funded under an agreement with the State of Tennessee. Music performances are sponsored by the MNAA.
