  David Knudtson - Ticketing Lobby

The first 20 years of David Knudtson’s life were spent on the family farm in northwestern Iowa. He attended various universities to study Forestry, Theatre, Engineering and began branching out into music. It was music that led Knudtson to Nashville, TN. Nashville’s growing arts community allowed him to cultivate his acting and music talents, while rediscovering his engineering skills. He challenged himself to see form and space in a way that is decisively his own. Knudtson’s ability to shape wood has taken him from cabinets to fine art, with his spiral and curled wood sculptures receiving national recognition.

  Artist Statement
“I wasn’t looking to be an artist. It happened while I was chasing other notions. I don’t consciously contrive my inspirations. Authentic self-conversation is my only desire. The more honest my inner dialogue, ultimately, the more effective my renditions will be in speaking to viewers.”
