Since 2003, Arts at the Airport (AAA) has partnered with the Tennessee Association of Craft Artists (TACA) to offer craft artist demonstrations in the airport terminal. The demonstrations are held near the Concourse C security checkpoint and are visible to departing and arriving passengers. As we come to the conclusion of the 2004/2005 craft demonstration series, we partner once again to present Unexpected Treasure: Tennessee Crafts at Nashville International Airport. The exhibition is made up of TACA member's work selected from those showing at the TACA Spring Craft Fair in May 2005. In this exhibition, you will find more than 30 examples of exquisite Tennessee craft including pottery, glass, fiber, wood, and book arts. The work of several artists who have been regular craft demonstrators in our Arts at the Airport program are featured in the exhibition: Teresa Hays, Claudia Lee, Asia Mathis, Roy Pace, Donna Rizzo and Vickie Vipperman.
