  Tim Hussey - Ticketing Level

For the past 12 years, Tim Hussey has worked as an illustrator, designer, instructor and painter. In 1992 while Hussey was a set designer for MTV, he created paintings on air as a live performance. Soon thereafter, he began doing editorial illustration for clients including The New York Times, Rolling Stone and Ray-Gun. In 1994, while maintaining his illustration and painting careers, he also worked as an art director for such magazines as Musician, GQ, Outside and Icon. While continuing to work harmoniously in both the commercial and fine art realms, Hussey taught related courses at The School of Visual Arts at New York City. In 1998, he moved back to his home state of Tennessee and began to place a new emphasis on fine art.

Over the past few years, there have been solo exhibitions of Hussey's paintings in San Jose, CA, Detroit, MI, New York, NY and in Nashville at Zeitgeist Gallery. He continues to receive numerous awards and international recognition for his work in illustration and design, including this year's Top 20 Images of the Year award from American Illustration.
