Identical twins Jerry and Terry Lynn grew up on the outskirts of Memphis, TN, sharing their own form of communication. They painted and drew collaboratively at a young age, challenging one another to become better artists. Side by side, they attended the University of Memphis and found a renewed interest art. Upon graduation in 1997, the artists adapted their childhood process–one brother begins a painting, then the other adds to and alters the painting until it is finished. Completed works bear the name "TWIN." They are represented by several galleries including the David Lusk Gallery and Woodcuts Gallery and Framing.
TWIN gained world attention when their painting was selected to become part of the Art in Embassies Program in Damascus.

Artist Statement
“The unity of our work has developed from our close working relationship. The faith of our tight-knit family and the rich heritage of Memphis is our inspiration. I don’t think of our work as black or white, it's just from the heart." Jerry explains. Terry adds, "If anything, it's truly American."
