Individuals who volunteer their time are rare in today's fast-paced, busy world - most people have families, jobs or other interests. At Nashville International Airport, close to 120 volunteers share their spare time to assist passengers.
Since 2000, the Flying Aces, a volunteer group of men and women, have been helping make the traveling experience more pleasant at Nashville International Airport.
Flying Aces are easily spotted in their ruby red vests or blazers carrying their information clipboards. Each Ace is assigned a station for their shift and can be seen throughout the airport at entrances, security checkpoints and baggage claim. In general, they answer questions regarding to flight information, provide directions to dining venues and assist passengers.
