ARTS AT THE AIRPORT
The Nashville International Airport sponsors the following events for public enjoyment: seasonal exhibits, art exhibits, craft demonstrations involving clay, fabric marbling, mosaic art, quilting, weaving, and woodcarving. Live music from various vocalists, instrumentalists is performed on three state locations: to the left of the Ernest Tubb Shop, across from C/D checkpoint in the bar lounge, and Welcome to Music City stage located on the baggage claim level. CONSTRUCTION IN AIRPORT AREA
In order to prevent obstructions to safe aircraft navigation, the Airport Authority regulates the maximum height of all structures within the Airport Overlay District. In accordance with this provision, those wishing to obtain building permits within the Airport Overlay District may be required by Metro Government's Department of Codes and Building Safety to contact the Airport Authority (at 615-275-1446) for sign-off. In addition, the Federal Aviation Administration has established standards and notification requirements for objects affecting navigable airspace. Additional information.

MASSAGE BAR
Ticketing Level on C Concourse, Gate C-14; Open 8:00a.m.-8:00p.m. Monday-Friday, 8:00a.m.-4:00p.m. Saturday, and 12:00p.m.-8:00p.m. Sunday (no appointment necessary). Massage chairs are located before A/B and C/D checkpoints and on B Concourse.
MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
Contact Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) by dialing 1703 on beige courtesy phones in the terminal. EMTs are on duty 24 hrs. By law, they cannot write prescriptions or work-absence excuses, or supply any drugs other than Aspirin.
MEDITATION ROOM
The Meditation Room (interfaith prayer facility) is located on A Concourse near Gate A-2, and is accessible during normal airport operating hours.

PARKING (Baggage and Ticketing Levels)
Curbside parking is not permitted except to load or unload passengers and baggage. Drivers should not leave cars unattended. You are encouraged to use the short-term parking.

Located on the Ground Transportation 1st Level. Economy, Long-term and short-term parking spaces are available, with some spaces reserved for commercial vehicle loading and unloading. Curbside parking is not allowed in front of the terminal. Thirty-two (32) parking spaces for the physically-challenged are available on the front rows of each section of lots in short term parking. Courtesy shuttles from long-term and economy parking lots are available. Equipped with wheelchair lifts, shuttles run every 10 minutes.

Domestic flights: At the Checkpoint, passengers age 18 and over should be prepared to present one form of government-issued photo identification (e.g. valid passport, valid driver’s license, military ID, etc.), or two forms of non-photo identification, one of which must have been issued by a state or federal agency (e.g. U.S. Social Security card) in order to expeditiously pass through the security checkpoint.
