The taxi rate from the Nashville International Airport to Downtown is approximately $25 plus tip, tax, and extra charge for large bags.  

DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE
Nashville International Airport is eight miles east of downtown Nashville. Downtown Airport Express Shuttle, taxi, bus and hotel/motel courtesy shuttle services are also available from the airport.

FORT CAMPBELL
Jarmon Limousine provides transportation to Fort Campbell. Jarmon Limousine is located on the Ground Transportation Level and can be reached at (615)275-0146.

HOTEL/MOTEL CALL BOARDS
Baggage Level. Specific hotel/motels can be called from call-boards, which are located on the Baggage Level.

HANDICAPPED PARKING
Available in all airport lots.  All airport operated shuttle buses in the long term and economy lots are equipped with wheelchair lifts for passenger assistance.

LIMOUSINE SERVICE
Carey Limousine operates limousine service to downtown hotels and other areas from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Fare is $20 for the first person, plus $5 for each additional person. Other airport limousine services are available on a pre-arranged basis.

OPRYLAND HOTEL DESK
Located on the Ground Transportation Level behind the escalator. You may confirm or make reservations and/or request various services.

RENTAL CAR COUNTERS
Rental car counters are located on the Ground Transportation Level. Cars are conveniently located in a covered area adjacent to the terminal building. Child seats are available on request.

FLYING ACES
Volunteers in red vests are able to assist you in your traveling needs, and are stationed in various locations throughout the airport on a daily basis to answer your questions. For information about this program, contact: 615-275-4522

AUTOMOBILE TROUBLE
Contact Central Parking at 275-1045 or Airport Police at the Safety & Security office at 275-1705.

INFORMATION CENTER
The Information Center is located at the center of the Baggage Claim Level. Provides customer paging, including visual paging for the hearing impaired, language assistance, information and passenger guidance.

LOST AND FOUND
If you have lost or found an item at Nashville International Airport, contact or visit the Information Center located on the Baggage Claim Level. Items are kept for 30 days from the date item found. Contact: (615) 275-1674 or (615) 275-1675.

MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
Contact Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) by dialing 1703 on beige courtesy phones in the terminal. EMTs are on duty 24 hrs. By law, they cannot write prescriptions or work-absence excuses, or supply any drugs other than Aspirin.
Medical emergency may be transported to: Summit Medical Center, 5655 Frist Blvd, Hermitage, TN 37076.  Patient information: 615-316-3490.

POLICE OFFICERS
Police officers are on walking patrol in the terminal. If none in sight, go to nearest beige courtesy phone located on the walls throughout the terminal on all levels. Dial 1703.

Located on Baggage Claim Level, Gates B-2 and C-9, Ground Transportation Level, Level 1 Parking Garage, and Ticketing Level.

Curbside on Ticketing Level and curbside on Baggage Level or check at your airline ticket counter.

Concourse C Retail & Food Court. Retail store with kid-friendly video games (free demos).

 

Where do I go to have a smoke?

SMOKING
Smoking is only permitted in:

1) Designated areas outside of the terminal facilities on all three levels of the terminal, and

2) Graycliff Boutique & Lounge (with purchase), located on Concourse B, near Gate B-10, and on Concourse C, near Gate C-10.

 

Where do I go to rent a movie?

REDBOX DVD RENTALS
These automated vending machines are located on the south end of the security checkpoint, and the south end of the Baggage Claim Level.

 

Where do I go to relax?

AMERICAN AIRLINES ADMIRAL'S CLUB
Open to members of American Airlines passenger club. Located near Gate C-12.

DELTA CROWN ROOM
Open to members of Delta Airlines passenger club. Located at Gate B-3.

LIVE MUSIC PERFORMANCES
Scheduled several times a week on the Concourse C Meeter-Greeter Lounge stage, the A/B Concourse Meeter-Greeter stage, and the Concourse C Food and Retail Court stage. Live music can also be heard daily in the Tootsies Orchid Lounge at Gate C-7.

MASSAGE BAR
Ticketing Level on C Concourse, Gate C-14; Open 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, and Noon -8 p.m. Sunday (no appointment necessary). Massage chairs are located before A/B and C/D checkpoints and on B Concourse.

MASSAGE CHAIRS

MEDITATION ROOMS
There are two Meditation Rooms (interfaith prayer facilities). One is located in the C Concourse Meeter-Greeter Lounge (pre-security). The other is post-security, near the Hudson News retail store at gate C-1.

Nashville Nails (manicure and pedicure services) is located in Concourse C close to Gate C-15

What about on-site airport parking?

PARKING
Located on the Ground Transportation 1st Level. Economy, Long-term and Short-term parking spaces are available, with some spaces reserved for commercial vehicle loading and unloading. Curbside parking is not allowed in front of the terminal. Forty-two (42) handicapped parking spaces are available on the front rows of each section of lots in Short-term parking. Courtesy shuttles from Long-term and Economy parking lots are available. Equipped with wheelchair lifts, shuttles run every 10 minutes. Valet parking is available. See rates in chart below.

ARTS AT THE AIRPORT
The Nashville International Airport sponsors art exhibits in the terminal for public enjoyment. In addition, live music is performed on five stages. Contact: 615-275-1614.

COPY MACHINE

CONSTRUCTION IN AIRPORT AREA
In order to prevent obstructions to safe aircraft navigation, the Airport Authority regulates the maximum height of all structures within the Airport Overlay District. In accordance with this provision, those wishing to obtain building permits within the Airport Overlay District may be required by Metro Government's Department of Codes and Building Safety to contact the Airport Authority (615-275-1643) for sign-off. In addition, the Federal Aviation Administration has established standards and notification requirements for objects affecting navigable airspace. Additional information.

Airport Police may issue traffic tickets for illegal parking and speeding on airport property. Tickets are processed through the Metro Nashville Police Department.

Security information

PHOTO IDs
Domestic flights: At the Checkpoint, passengers age 18 and over should be prepared to present one form of government-issued photo identification (e.g. valid passport, valid driver’s license, military ID, etc.), or two forms of non-photo identification, one of which must have been issued by a state or federal agency (e.g. U.S. Social Security card) in order to expeditiously pass through the security checkpoint.
